Application for 2026 Junior Prize

SECEC offers the possibility to apply for the Junior Prize, aimed to recognise a SECEC Junior member who demonstrates particular merit in shoulder and elbow research.

The submission should be presented in English.

It should include :

* a motivational letter outlining your career achievements, contributions to the field of shoulder and elbow surgery and future goals.

* include a recommendation letter from a mentor, supervisor or senior colleague attesting to the applicant’s skills, achievements and potential as a future leader in shoulder and elbow surgeon.
It should list : 1. your academic papers in indexed journals and in book chapters related to shoulder and elbow surgery detailing if you are first or co-author;
2. your participation in research committees and projects;
3. your congress presentations as first author (oral and poster) in SECEC congresses and in other shoulder and elbow meetings;
4. your fellowship experiences.
Important : the same topic should not be listed in several sections (academic paper, research project, congress presentation).

Applicants must be SECEC Junior members having completed their residency within the past 3 years.
